April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born July 4 April, 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. It was this that ignited her love for music writing. When she was 12 years old, April composed her first single Different. When April was 14 years old, she dedicated the majority of her time creating song ideas and perfecting the music. In the following months, April started taking trips across NY and LA together with her father to help them compose songs. April also added additional themes to the song "Take My Hand" to help her acquaintances who faced problems like peer pressure, problems, as well as teens who committed suicide. Lockhart is a popular figure and also works as an online lifestyle blogger for the well-known Ilia Clean Beauty brand. As a woman born with no left hand, the woman has a significant part to play in her. It's however not the only thing she has to tell. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't cover up her disability, but it does not just focus on the issue. What message does it convey? It's important to keep in mind that we all have numerous faces. Our identities are varied and we're much beyond our body. Lockhart in a video message from Nashville at home, claims that I don't wish for this to define my character. I'm far more than just my physical self. My daily life isn't affected by it. I go about my regular daily life, and come up with my own solutions to issues. It's also a part of my life, and I think that it is something to be talked about. Lockhart is a huge source of inspiration for her female friends with regards to self-acceptance. Yet, she confesses to going through periods that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance, and the clothes with arms. She now wears any outfit she wants and posts pictures on Facebook in awe. Self-love, she says is a journey. It's hard to say if you'll ever reach the point of no return. This is, however, common for anyone with doubts. The people you surround yourself with, who know you, and can see into your heart are the ones you should be relying on who can remind you of the things you're concerned about.
